PEGASUS IMAGING EXTENDS ISIS® CONTRACT WITH EMC CORPORATION
ISIS Xpress™ is also expected to become part of ImagXpress in the next version release.


TAMPA, FL, DECEMBER 4, 2007 – Pegasus® Imaging Corporation, the leading provider of document imaging technology, today announces an ISIS licensing contract extension with EMC Corporation. Financial terms of the extension are not disclosed.

The new agreement extension allows Pegasus Imaging to continue to provide ISIS technology as .NET and ActiveX components within the ISIS Xpress Software Development Kit (SDK). Future plans include building the components into the same download of the next version of the ImagXpress SDK, version 9, expected early in 2008. ImagXpress is Pegasus Imaging’s flagship image processing toolkit designed for document imaging, forms processing, and records management application development. Pegasus Imaging representatives expect increased ISIS licensing as a result of the agreement extension and predominant product positioning.

ISIS Xpress can be used as a .NET or ActiveX COM component. Designed for high-speed scanning of black/white, grayscale and color documents, it supports simultaneous image capture (multistreaming) and provides access to ISIS scanner features.
