IMAGXPRESS VERSION 7 RELEASED BY PEGASUS IMAGING
TAMPA, December 15, 2003 - Pegasus Imaging Corporation, the leader in digital imaging, announces the release of ImagXpress v7, the most powerful imaging toolkit available for developers today. It features new technology, a sleeker architecture, and a brand new View Only edition. Easy to use and extremely powerful, Version 7 delivers the most advanced, high quality imaging features that Pegasus Imaging customers have come to expect.

Developers can build document imaging, forms processing, color imaging, photo processing, and video applications using ImagXpress as a managed .NET, COM, or VCL component. A comprehensive set of image processing functions is provided and over 30 file formats are supported, with the fastest processing speeds available. Barcode, ICR, OCR, OMR, ISIS scanning, JPEG 2000, lossless JPEG, JPEG-LS, and WSQ are available as add on toolkits.

New features include multi-page PDF support, EXIF tag editing, built in tools with the ability to reassign key sequences to different tools (including hand tool, magnifying glass, pan and zoom, rubber band, and more), configurable binarization and half toning, color anti-aliasing and smoothing for zoomed images, more advanced video capture (including the ability to interface with any video capture device that supports USB, FireWire, WDM, or native DirectShow including legacy Video For Windows devices), streaming image support from the Internet to allow progressive image viewing online, support for rulers as annotation objects, print to files (including TIFF), and much more.
