ImageGear Supported File Formats
ImageGear supports a wide array of formats and provides developers with a versatile imaging toolkit. The chart below lists file formats with additional information such as read/write capabilities, supported bit depths, multi-page format support, ImageGear required components, SDK format support based on platforms, and NetVue compatibility (note: NetVue needs MS Office installed on the NetVue server to stream MS Office files).

How do I use the chart?
For example, if you need to develop an application with bitmap support,
read across the BMP row. The chart shows that ImageGear can read and write
files with 1, 4, 8, 9-16, 24 and 32-bit data. In addition, you can develop
applications with any SDK platform (Windows, Java, Unix, and Mac) and use
Netvue.
