The NetVue application framework features the following:

• A patented system for the progressive rendering of 100+ image formats as well as Microsoft (Office, Project & Visio), CAD, PDF and WordPerfect files

NetVue offers a powerful, easy-to-implement set of APIs that provide OEMs and system integrators with tremendous control over how the NetVue viewer is implemented within their applications. With the flexibility of the APIs, NetVue can be integrated into any kind of Web development.

NetVue provides both an ActiveX and Java Viewer, providing you with a powerful set of configuration options that enable developers to control the look and feel, default options, available functionality and execution.

The ActiveX viewer (NetVueX) provides two types of API for Web integration:

• HTML API
  Allows calls to the NetVue viewer and specifies its parameters from within an HTML Web page

• Properties and Methods
  Enable control of the NetVue client from within any environment that supports ActiveX

The Java Viewer contains class libraries with an API for full programmability. Developers can use any Java development environment that supports class libraries, as well as JScript and HTML:

• HTML API
  Allows calls to the NetVue viewer from inside an HTML Web page

• Java API
  Allows calls to the NetVue client from inside any Java applet/application

• JavaScript API
  Allows calls to the NetVue client from inside JScript code embedded in the HTML Web page

• Image loading and decoding for over 100 file formats

• Full control over UI objects

• High-speed image display

• Local image saving to either TIFF or the original format

• Thumbnail browsing of documents and images

• Advanced image navigation, including browser-like history list

• Annotation editing support with full layer (256 layers) and security control
