ImageGear Enterprise bundles together NetVue, a client-server application for fast Internet/Intranet access to documents stored as images, with AccuSoft’s award winning ImageGear Professional imaging toolkit for creating high-quality imaging solutions. NetVue works in conjunction with your company’s document management system (DMS) to provide the ability to view different image formats with much better performance than normal image viewing. By utilizing AccuSoft’s sophisticated NDS technology, NetVue provides enhanced bi-level image viewing and minimizes image delivery delays via the Internet. And, ImageGear now supports the latest Microsoft Vista release. Developers can create robust imaging applications on the latest 32-bit and 64-bit operating systems, including Vista.

NetVue Components
Within ImageGear Enterprise, NetVue consists of the following components:
- NetVue Server
is a Windows service running on an Internet/intranet server. The NetVue Server controls user access to documents, handles request from the NetVue client viewers for documents, and converts documents from one image format to another. - NetVue Java Viewer
is a Java applet running on the client side that requests documents from the NetVue Server and displays documents to the user. - NetVue ActiveX Viewer
is an ActiveX component running on the client side that requests documents from the NetVue Server and displays documents to the user. Both the Java and ActiveX viewers are compatible with HTML APIs and user interfaces. - NetVue Server Web Tools
is a web application that allows the system administrator to configure the server and monitor its current status.

- Choice of client side image viewer with a powerful set of configuration options that enable developers to control the look and feel, default options, available functions and execution.
- Annotation support allows users to mark up or annotate any document supported by NetVue. There are 16 types of annotation marks that can be saved with the document in a separate file, allowing users to share comments globally without changing the original document.
- Microsoft Office format support provides the capability to view Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint and Visio files..
- Supports the capability to view Adobe Acrobat PDF files and PostScript files.
- WordPerfect format support for viewing WordPerfect files.
