With ImageGear MD for 64-Bit, developers can quickly design applications to read, write, display and transform DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) medical files.
Support for large monochrome, palletized, and true color DICOM images
The format support of the MD component includes loading and saving
monochrome, palettized, and true color medical images using the
following file
formats:
- DICOM 3.0 Part 10-compliant images
- DICOM 3.0 Raw Format (non-Part 10-compliant)
Manipulate large DICOM part 10-compliant images
User's can load, save, modify or read the values of a Medical image in a
Part 10 Header template that is initialized automaticlly through the
ImageGear MD application.
Quickly integrate images into a Patient Medical Record System
Read DICOM images from digital imaging modalities
ImageGear MD for 64-Bit simplifies programming, speeds development and provides a common API for handling medical image types, including scanned patient records (TIFF, etc.), JPEG 2000 images or PDF documents. Medical images from digital imaging modalities (i.e. MRI and CT scanners) are fully supported via the DICOM medical imaging format (DCM).
