Drawing upon 17 years of experience as an imaging provider, Accusoft Pegasus now provides Imaging Activities for Windows® Workflow Foundation (WF) and Microsoft® Office® SharePoint® Server (MOSS). Software developers can easily add advanced image file conversion, image cleanup, full-page OCR, auto rotate, barcode recognition, and barcode writing activities to WF applications or add them to SharePoint workflows. These Accusoft Pegasus technologies are available as fully-integrated WF activities for use within Visual Studio 2005 and Visual Studio 2008. Accusoft Pegasus’s WF activity libraries enable exciting opportunities to develop new applications.

One example use of the activities is a WF application or a Sharepoint WF that reads barcodes from separator pages of multiple file scans, cleans the images, performs OCR and produces a multi-page PDF with the name of the file based on the barcode contents. When integrated into Sharepoint, this workflow could be executed when an image is added to a Sharepoint document library.
