Provides greater speed to market for developers and increased performance for users

TAMPA, Fla. — March 29, 2016 — Accusoft, the leader in content and imaging solutions, today announced the release of version 11.0 of PrizmDoc (formerly Prizm Content Connect), the company's flagship document and image processing product. The release includes several new features that will help developers accelerate product releases and provide enterprise clients with streamlined document workflows that offer improved accuracy and performance.

Our team worked hard to develop a solution that improved document workflow for our customers," said Steve Wilson, vice president of product at Accusoft. "PrizmDoc not only comes with a new name, but it offers hosting flexibility and allows our customers to quickly launch new product offerings without hindering the productivity of their business.

New PrizmDoc features include:

  • Accusoft-hosted option now available
For clients who prefer a cloud-based option or want to avoid hardware costs and manual installation, Accusoft now offers PrizmDoc as an Accusoft-hosted solution. For those who prefer to use the product on-premises, it will continue to be offered as a self-hosted product.
  • Document pre-conversion
Included in this release as a developer preview, document pre-conversion services will significantly reduce the amount of time clients spend waiting for large files to open. Pre-conversion creates and caches all artifacts required for future document viewing or as part of an on-demand viewing session.
  • Email conversion
This service introduces more accurate rendering of email message header information aligned with the message body, and the ability to load and view email messages attached to email message files in EML and MSG formats.
