JPEG 2000 JPIP Web Demo

This Windows and Java demonstration allows a user to select a region of interest within a compressed JPEG 2000 image residing on a Pegasus server. The selected region of interest is progressively transmitted and decompressed at the client workstation. The user can control the region of interest selected and view the image bit rate transfer and decompression.

Apollo Compression Demo

This Windows application allows you to input bitmap images and RAW images for compressing and expanding using the following compression technologies: JPEG 2000, JPEG-LS, Lossy JPEG, Lossless JPEG, Pegasus Wavelet, and Pegasus PIC format. Apollo gives image data such as before and after compression file sizes, compression ratios, compression and expansion speeds, and image properties. The user has control over features such as compression type, compression ratio, bit depths, PSNR and many others.
