The Barcode Scanner App demonstrates the use of the Barcode Xpress Mobile SDK for Android™. This app shows how you can build a powerful barcode-capable application for whatever you need: industrial, retail, inventory or any other application.
The app opens with a scanning screen. Simply position the barcode in the middle of the screen and the app will instantly decode it.
A variety of options are available after successful recognition, depending on the data encoded in the barcode.
URIs allow you to jump to a web address at the click of a button.
ISBNs allow you to do a search for a book.
Product barcodes allow you to search for products to find the lowest price.

Text results allow you to share the decoded text by email or SMS, or do a web search for that text string.
