Newest PCC Release Features CAD XREF Support and eSignature Updates

A long-awaited feature has been added to the Prizm Content Connect v10.4 release: We have improved CAD support and usability among collaborators by adding CAD XREF support. Now users can view external images referenced in CAD drawings within the original file. This update is in direct response to requests from our users, and we are please to be able to continually improve our products to suit your needs.

Along with CAD XREF support, we’ve added a new feature to our eSignature tool. As you know, digital signature workflows can be tedious and time-consuming. They may require several people to sign specific fields on a document, and the workflow isn’t complete until all signature fields are signed. Applications built with PCC can now manage multiple users who sign a form field, providing more visibility and control by tracking when each individual has signed the document.

When all CAD XREFs have been viewed, and all documents signed, it’s time to convert. With PCC 10.4, you can now combine multiple file types (CAD, TIFF, Office, etc.) into a single PDF. No more sending multiple documents; just combine and convert your project into a single file to simplify your sharing and collaborating.

Other upgrades in this release include the ability to view VISIO .vsd files, and improvements to our Linux and Windows installation process.
