Accusoft Unveils Popular Cram App, Now Available on iOS

Cram enables users to compress image files and gain back valuable memory

TAMPA, Fla. – June 18, 2015 – Accusoft, the leading provider of document, content and imaging solutions, today announces the availability of Cram for iOS, the image compressor app that shrinks pictures on your mobile device by 60% or more—without compromising the actual display/print dimensions, resolution, or quality of your photo files.

The debut of Cram on iOS enables iPhone and iPad users to experience what Android users have been for months — the ability to gain back vital memory space on their devices. Cram can reduce the file sizes of your photos without altering the quality of these images. This empowers users to keep their photos on their devices, in the same resolution as before, without taking up crucial space.

In addition to saving memory space, Cram also grants users many indirect benefits as well. Cram customers avoid attachment file size limitations brought on by email providers and lagging download times on their blogs and websites from excessive files.

Cram for iOS also comes with Cramera, which gives users the option to take pictures from within the app and have it compressed automatically.

Compressing image files is easy and only takes a few steps:

  • Launch the Cram app on iPhone, iPad, or Android devices.
  • Select the images to Cram.
  • Press the Cram button and let the app take it from there.

Cram is available as a free download now in the iTunes and Google Play stores. Each user receives 300 free crams, with the ability to gain 100 more each time they tweet about their crammed images — up to 50 times. Cram is also available as a one-time, in-app purchase for $1.99, which comes with unlimited Crams.
